Once Nora leaves Torvald and her children, she evades the life she was living. Her capricious character had switched instantly. She came to the realization of how incompetent Torvalds love was for her. Nora is looking to be unperturbed from her family. Therefore she is now an independent woman. Deep down inside her she felt sympathy for him but new better to just brush it off. Gladly she came to her senses and made the right decision. She decided that it was wrong of her to involve the kids and couldn't bear the fact that they had to deal with their weird father. So she took them with her and blocked Torvald out of her life.

Wow. So much has happened in Act II of A Dollhouse. This act really shows the characters true colors. Krogstad was still making Noras life hell. It's to the point where she will commit suicide if Helmer were to ever read the letter. I think she's better off confronting him about it then being selfish taking her life away, leaving her family behind. She believes that it will suppress the family but she needs to have an open mind. On another note Dr. Rank said he " loved" her!
      Nora doesn't know how to feel about that. Mrs. Linde supposedly a good, loyal friend of Nora back stabbed her. They made a deal to convince Krogstad to take the letter back. But Mrs. Linde got caught up in her feelings and messed up the plan. They came to a realization that they needed each other. Therefore once Krogstad was about to give in she changed his mind and took it upon herself. She claims that Helmer should indeed see the letter and they should work things out to make them closer. What a hypocrite.....

Hey it's Sam here and I'm just gonna give u guys a little intro to how the short story "A Dollhouse" is so far! I think it's pretty interesting. To start off the main character, Nora Helmer comes off as conceited, inconsiderate, and a liar. Her husband, Torvold Helmer is convinced Nora is a ditz and like he says, " just like a woman". But little does he know that Nora has secrets that may make him see her in a different perspective or disgust. Nora is being blackmailed by a lawyer/ criminal who works at the bank and in which needs a job from Torvold, since he's becoming bank manager. No one likes Krostad, so therefore Nora, the wife of the manager, needs to put a good word in for him. And if Nora hesitates or even resists to do so, Krostad will snitch on her little secret, making her life a living hell. Will she for the sake of her family? Who knows! Stayed tuned....
